UpSearch announces cloud migration services for Microsoft SQL Server
Berea, OH – May 21, 2016 – UpSearch, LLC today announced the launch of Cloud Migration Services for Microsoft SQL Server after successfully completing multiple client migrations.
“We verified Microsoft SQL Server’s total cost of ownership can be reduced with digital infrastructure, but the cloud migration process has many points of failure,” said Shawn Upchurch, Founder & CEO. “Our experiences also indicate the appetite for digital IT infrastructure is robust, but due to the sensitive nature of data technology leaders have been appropriately cautious. In response, we developed and tested a structured deployment approach to cloud migrations for Microsoft SQL Server.”
A study released by Microsoft this month suggests organizations will depend more on digital IT infrastructure than physical to deliver products and services. The Digital Revolution, Powered by Cloud, a Microsoft Corp.-commissioned study conducted by 451 Research LLC found 57 percent of organizational infrastructure investments will be digital, compared with physical in two years, up from 51 percent today.
Upchurch said, “We understand data is sacred and migrating data is an intimate process. Our deployment planning specialists are uniquely experienced at identifying the right option for each client’s situation – whether a public cloud, private cloud or hybrid solution.”
