Mark Richards

Mark Richards is a mentor, a life-long learner, and a seasoned database developer and software engineer. He is passionate about leveraging creativity, innovation, and excellence to deliver exceptional data and software solutions.

Mark excels at cross data platform migrations, data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (SQL Server ETL), data query performance tuning, TSQL development, and data visualization. He has been using Microsoft SQL Server since version 2005 and develops in TSQL, C++, .Net, HTML and JavaScript. Mark has a unique ability to listen, envision solutions, and communicate his vision.

Mark is also an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP). He is working toward his Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate certification and holds a Bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Akron. Mark is a member of the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS).

Mark is a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan, an alumnus who bleeds Scarlet and Gray, especially football. He loves all kinds of music, plays saxophone, and loves to annoy his wife with his singing. He is a student of life and believes we should never stop learning.
