Protecting your privacy is important to UpSearch (“UpSearch”) and upsearch.com is intended to be a complement to the services that the firm provides. This statement, set forth below, is our privacy statement and explains how UpSearch collects, uses, and discloses the personal information you may provide while using UpSearch’s www.upsearch.com Web Site and the content, information and services provided through the Web Site (collectively the “Web Site”). UpSearch and its affiliated entities (“the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) adhere to the Safe Harbor Agreement concerning the transfer of personal data from the European Union to the United States of America. Accordingly, we follow the Safe Harbor Principles published by the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Principles”) with respect to all such data. The Principles will govern any conflict between our policies and the Principles, should they arise.

Notice and Choice. UpSearch intends for www.upsearch.com to complement the services that the firm provides. We collect personal information from individuals only as permitted by the Principles or with the consent of the individual affected. Consent for personal information to be collected, used, and/or disclosed in certain ways may be required in order for an individual to obtain or use our services. To the extent permitted by the Safe Harbor Agreement, we reserve the right to process personal information in the course of providing professional services to our clients without the knowledge of individuals involved.
“Cookies.” The UpSearch www.upsearch.com Web Site and/or any of its governed sections may use cookies. A “Cookie” is technology that allows our site to store tokens of information (an ‘identifier’) in your browser used only by our site while you are on our site. Cookies are not used to determine the personal identity of anyone who is merely visiting www.upsearch.com. We do not use this technology to access your personally identifiable information; it is only used to compile aggregated statistics about visitors who come to www.upsearch.com and to gauge the effectiveness of our ads.

Data Security/Integrity. UpSearch has technological and operational security functions in place to protect personally identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. The data you may provide via Web site is shared only with authorized employees of UpSearch, and on a limited basis, with vendors who supply information management services, and third parties in association with. Access to your information is limited by need, and those who have access to the data have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of such information. In addition, UpSearch may disclose personally identifiable information as may be required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process.

Children. UpSearch understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy in the interactive, online world. www.upsearch.com does not intentionally target or solicit to children 13 and younger.

Accountability. UpSearch complies with applicable privacy regulations. UpSearch supports and is involved in consumer, government and industry efforts to identify and resolve privacy issues.
